With deep sorrow, the family announces the passing of J. Remedios Castañeda Pérez, who left this world on November 16, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and example for all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his sons Norberto, Seferino, Dionisio, Eladio, Isidro, and Baltazar; his daughters María Cleofas, Saturnina, Maurina, Tirza, and Angélica; and his sisters Reyes and Cornelia. He is also survived by 39 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren who honor his memory with love and gratitude.

J. Remedios was preceded in death by his beloved wife Teresita, his baby Elvia, and his grandson Pedro, whom he now joins in eternal peace.

His final resting place will be the Panteón Municipal in La Huizachera, Huitzachal, Michoacán, Mexico, where family and friends will gather to honor his life and bid him farewell.

His memory will forever live in the hearts of all who loved him.
