Roberto Salazar Solano, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, at the age of 80 in Garland, TX. Born on November 29, 1944, in Cadereyta, Jimenez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Roberto lived a life marked by love, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his family and faith.
Roberto spent his formative years in Cadereyta, where he developed a strong work ethic and a love for his Mexican heritage. In search of greater opportunities, Roberto eventually made his home in Garland, TX, where he built a life filled with love and purpose alongside his cherished wife, San Juana.
He is survived by his devoted wife, San Juana, his loving son, Heber, and his caring daughter, Maria Iliana. Roberto was a cherished grandfather to Alexa Miranda, Heber Xavier, and Orlando, who brought immense joy to his life. He leaves behind his beloved sisters, Fidelia, Olivia, Elia, and Consuelo, whose bonds were a testament to Roberto’s deep commitment to family.
Roberto is preceded in death by his parents, Arnulfo and Manuela, his brothers, Juan and Armando, and his sisters, Josefina and Guadalupe. Their memories remained an integral part of Roberto's heart throughout his life.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at a viewing and visitation on Friday February 28, 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, TX. He will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett, TX, immediately following the funeral service.
Roberto Salazar Solano will be remembered for his kind spirit, resilience, and the enduring love he shared with all fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of love and strength will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, whom he cherished above all else.
