Rosa Chavez Barrera

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosa Chávez Barrera, who was born on November 29, 1961, in Pátzcuaro, Michoacán de Ocampo, Mexico, to her loving parents, Jose and Juana. Rosa passed away on February 6, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

Rosa was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother whose life was centered around her family. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her loved ones, creating lasting memories filled with laughter, warmth, and care.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Alberto; her cherished son, Jose; her brothers, Raul, Antonio, and Emilia; her sister, Josefina; and her treasured grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.

Rosa will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to live on through all who knew her.

Her final resting place will be at Royse City Cemetery.
