Rosalinda Castañeda

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosalinda Castañeda, who was born on May 18, 1969, in McAllen, Texas, and passed away on January 30, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

Rosalinda was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother whose life was defined by devotion to her family and the love she shared so freely with those around her.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Maria; her cherished children, Steven and Bryan; sisters Minerva, Nelda, Leticia, Elisa, Patricia, Cynthia and Annie; her brothers Felix and Manuel; her daughter-in-law, Valerie; and her three grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her aunt, Dalia, who was more like a sister to her.

Rosalinda was preceded in death by her father, Felix, and her beloved sister, Marimelda, with whom she is now reunited.

Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
