Ruben Madrigal, a beloved son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025, in Plano, Texas, at the age of 61. Born on Saturday, May 25th, 1963, in Dallas, Texas, Ruben lived a full and vibrant life dedicated to his family and friends.
Ruben is survived by his devoted wife, Teresa, his cherished son, Adam Madrigal, and daughter-in-law, Holly Hendler, who brought him immense joy and pride. He is preceded in death by his mother, Eva Garza Madrigal, father, Melquiades Madrigal, brother, Richard Madrigal, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Yolanda and Oscar Santos and they are now reunited in eternal peace. In addition, he is mourned by his in-laws, Richard and Dora Gonzales, Ruben and Vikki Gonzales, Linda and Willie Carpio, Joseph and Tania Gonzales, mother-in-law, Delfina Gonzales. He is also mourned by his brothers, Robert and Rene Madrigal, and his sister-in-law, Candy Madrigal, along with his aunts and uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Ruben's life and pay their respects during a viewing and visitation on Friday, May 16th, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Pilar Funeral Home, located in Garland, TX. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm at the same location, providing an opportunity for reflection and prayer.
A Funeral Mass will be held in honor of Ruben on Saturday, May 17th, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Cemetery Chapel in Rowlett, TX. His final resting place will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, with interment immediately following the Funeral Mass at 11:30 am.
