Salome Garcia Castorena

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Salome Garcia Castorena, who left this world on February 25th, 2026, at the age of 48. Born on November 17th, 1977, Salome was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew him.

Salome is survived by his wife, Catalina, and his cherished children: sons Guillermo and Salomon, and daughters Maritza, Laura, and Valentina. He also leaves behind his loving parents, Felix and Ines, his brother Luis, sisters Eugenia and Reyna and his grandchildren Damian and Kenia Jocelyn.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing and visitation, which will be held at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, TX, on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will also take place at Pilar Funeral Home on the same day at 6:00 pm, where we will gather to celebrate Salome's life and the indelible mark he left on our hearts.

Salome will be laid to rest in his final resting place at Panteon General de Chaputepec in Guerrero, Mexico, where he will be surrounded by the beauty and peace of his homeland.

Salome's legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.
