Sara Franco Hernandez

Sara Franco Hernandez, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 5th, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on July 15th, 1941, Sara lived a life full of love, dedication, and resilience.

Sara was a beacon of strength and compassion, known for her unwavering devotion to her family and her community. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met, leaving a legacy of love and generosity that will be cherished by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons Arnoldo, Pedro, Jesus, and Cesar; her daughters Maria, Elda, Mayra, and Marta; her brother Carmelo; 20 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. Sara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pedro, with whom she shared many wonderful years.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sara's life at a viewing and visitation on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, TX. A funeral service will be held at the same location on the same day at 6:00 pm, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 pm.

Sara will be laid to rest at Cementerio de Chamal Viejo in Mpio Ocampo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, where she will join her husband Pedro in eternal peace.

Sara's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
