It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Soledad Trevizo, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Soledad passed away peacefully in Garland, Texas, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the age of 80.
Born on July 1, 1944, in Santa Barbara De Tutuaca, Chihuahua, Mexico, Soledad was the cherished daughter of her hometown, where she was known for her warm spirit and kind heart. She later settled in Garland, Texas, with her devoted husband, Hector, where they built a loving home filled with faith and family values.
Soledad is survived by her husband, Hector, her loving son Hector, and her daughters Maribel, Marisol, and Erica. She was the proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren and the joyful great-grandmother to 2 great-grandchildren. Her siblings Pablo, Nicolas, Javier, Jorge, Alberto, Jesus, Jose Luis, Eleuterio, and her dear sister Teresa, also feel the profound loss of their cherished sister.
A visitation will be held at Pilar Funeral Home in Garland, Texas, on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, where family and friends can gather to celebrate Soledad’s life and share fond memories.
Funeral Mass will be held at National Shrine Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dallas, Texas, on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 10:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas, at 12:00 pm.
Soledad will be remembered for her unwavering faith, love of family, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
