It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Vasti Salem Galvan, who left us on August 15, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, just a week after celebrating her 25th birthday.
Born and raised in Dallas, Vasti was the beloved daughter of Cuahtemoc and Martha Galvan. She was a cherished sister to Asaph Levi and a loving granddaughter to her paternal grandparents, Juan and Maria Esabel, as well as her maternal grandparents, Jose Angel and Alicia.
Vasti pursued her education passionately, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Her dedication and work ethic were evident in her role as a Starbucks attendant, where her warm smile and kind demeanor touched the lives of many.
Her life was a tapestry of vibrant interests and affiliations. A lover of music, the beauty of cats, and the color purple—which, along with her fascination with the Star of David—symbolized her eclectic and colorful personality.
Vasti’s kind nature, gentle spirit, and love for the simple joys of life left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her presence brought warmth and compassion, enriching the lives of her family and friends.
In this time of mourning, we remember Vasti not with tears alone, for her memory will forever remain in our hearts, a testament to her lasting impact on the world she left behind.
Her final resting place will be Garland Memorial Park in Garland, Texas.
